We fall in love in October
Mikel finally arrives home after 2 month absence . He spend June with his kids and ex wife in Saint Sebastian and immediately after that he went to the pre season tour with his Football club to the USA. Finally he was able to relax and try to get his life back on track in more familiar environment of his home in London, Islington.
After packing out his clothes he takes a bottle of wine and goes in the garden to enjoy sunset and some quite time. his pet bulldog Pogo by his side.
Mikel hears some quite music from the garden near by. The property was for sale for quite some time. Mikel even considerate buying it to extend his garden, but opted out of the deal at the last moment. For sure this property would not be without the owner for the long time, especially in this high thought out neighbourhood Islington in London.
Mikel stood on on the steps of a terrace of his home and watched as the builders were leaving his new neighbour property. The house looked different now from two months ago. New roof, terrace and panoramic windows to a garden.
Mikel Arteta stands on the front porch of their shared fence and gazes into the neighbor's garden. There had been much activity there over the past several weeks—the construction crew coming and going, heavy machinery digging up the ground, the sound of saws cutting through wood. But today everything was still and serene; no evidence remained of any recent repairs or modifications.
Suddenly, Arteta spots someone moving around inside the house. It is definitely female. Curiosity piqued, Mikel watches intently until the person steps outside onto the deck, taking in the evening air and surveying their surroundings with interest. Both smile warmly as woman approaches their shared fence.
"Hi! My name is Elen. I have been dying to meet you." she said with a smile extending a hand trough the fence.
"Hello" Mikel said a little wary . Since he was a public figure, he was a bit wary to meet new people and always suspicious of their intentions.
"There was a bit of an accident", the woman continued, "I was digging up a garden and the bush that is on your property overgrew to my territory. I tied to trim it," Elen gestured to the side of their joined fence, "but it was so sick and dry. Sadly I needed to dig it up altogether. I'm sorry"
"I didn't even notice I had a bush there, "Mikel laughed.
"Yeah, sorry.... now you don't . I am sorry. I wanted to meet you and apologise before you sue my for transpassing. I could plant lilacs there. They are beautiful and smell amazing. You wouldn't even notice something is missing." Elen said biting her lip.
Arteta hesitates for only a brief moment before accepting Elen's extended handshake. "It's okay," he says reassuringly. "These things happen. Thank you for letting me know about it."
Elen laughs nervously. "Well, I hope we can keep our peaceful coexistence alive," she jokes. "And if anything else happens, please let me know right away!"
Both chuckle, and then they stand quietly together for a few moments, enjoying each other's company and the beauty of the setting sun.

Next time Mikel sees Elen is Saturday. He came home after a game. Arsenal draw with Fulham. They lost 2 points and were falling behind Man City. Press conference was hell. Daily Mail was gloating about the end of Mikels unbeaten run.
Elen was sitting on the porch eyes closed, headphones in her ears facing the sun.
As Arteta approaches, Elen takes off her headphones and greets him warmly. "Good afternoon, Mikel," she says cheerfully. "How was your game?"
Mikel sighs heavily. "Not good enough," he replies. "We drew against Fulham today and it feels like a loss. We need to step up our game or we'll lose ground to Manchester City."
Elen nods sympathetically. "I understand," she says. "You must feel frustrated."
Mikel shrugs. "Yes, I do," he admits. "But I've got to stay positive. There's still plenty of season left."
They sit down on the steps together, looking out at the garden in silence for a moment. Then Elen speaks again.
