Story
As I sat in the principal's office, my eyes drifted to a girl sitting across from me.
She had pale skin, navy blue hair, and the most striking blue eyes I had ever seen. She was chubby, and had a warm aura that filled the room. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
When the principal introduced us, I felt a twinge of nervousness. My hands were sweaty, and my heart was racing. I managed to muster a smile, trying to hide the emotions I was feeling.
Suddenly, the principal cleared his throat, "This is Sasha, she is new around the campus and I wanted someone to show her around the building.. I think you'd be perfect to help her out."
My heart skipped a beat at the mention of her name. Sasha. It was such a beautiful name, just like her. I nodded eagerly, my voice barely a whisper as I stuttered, "O-of course, I'd.. be happy to show her around."
As Sasha and I hop out our seats, the principal waves us goodbye. I can't help but take a few glances at Sasha and wonder why I feel this way around her.. I've never felt so warm and fuzzy..
We walk into the hallways of the campus, and Sasha turns to me, "..So," She says sheepishly.
She takes a quick pause, "Where do we go?" She asks, looking puzzled. My face flusters, and I point down the hallway, "W-we'll l-look.. at the classrooms first.." I mutter. God, I feel so embarrassed.
Sasha follows behind me, investigating everything as we go.
Her curiosity is infectious, and I find myself smiling as I watch her explore. She stops at a bulletin board covered in flyers and posters, her eyes scanning the colorful array of events and clubs. "There's so much happening here," she exclaims, her voice has a hint of excitement. "I can't wait to get involved."
I nod, my body filling up with a pleasurable feeling, I can't help but to let out the widest smile. I want to be the one to show her all the amazing things this campus has to offer. "Yeah, there's.. d-definitely a lot going on.. We should c-check out some of the clubs later..!" I respond, a cheeky smile still plastered on my face.
We continue walking around the school, passing by the school library. I finally notice this unfamiliar feeling, it's joy.. In that moment, I feel a surge of happiness that I've never experienced before. It's as if the emptiness inside me has been replaced with something warm and vibrant. And it's all because of Sasha. How could someone I just meet change my life so quickly? My mind begins to wander, but then...
A loud voice begins to interrupt my train of thought, "Sasha?!" someone exclaims.
Sasha and I turn around, its a petite woman with blonde hair. Sasha begins to grin, "Tiffany!? Is that you?" Tiffany and Sasha run over to each other, embracing themselves in a hug. The feeling of happiness soon begins to turn into jealousy..
My heart sinks as I watch Sasha and Tiffany reconnect with such familiarity. I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy, a tinge of possessiveness creeping into my thoughts. Who is this Tiffany? And why does she seem so close to Sasha?
I try to push those negative emotions aside, reminding myself that Sasha is her own person and has the right to have friends. But the jealousy gnaws at me, intensifying with every passing second. I feel a burning desire to be the only one in Sasha's life, to be the one who brings her joy and happiness.
As Sasha and Tiffany chat animatedly, I find myself growing more distant, my smile fading into a forced expression. I walk over to them and interrupt their chat, "So.. Sasha, w-we should get going.. I still haven't showed you the cafeteria!.." I try to persuade Sasha to continue walking around with me, wanting this moment to last forever.
Sasha and her friend turn over to me, Sasha grins, meanwhile Tiffany gives an obnoxious face. I ignore Tiffany, staring intently at Sasha as I wait for her answer. Sasha's smile fades slightly as she looks between me and Tiffany, sensing the tension in the air. "Actually, Antonio," she begins, her voice filled with warmth, "I thi-" Suddenly, Tiffany barges in. "I can show her around the school, don't worry about her."
My heart sinks even further, disappointment washing over me. I try to mask my hurt with a forced smile, nodding my head. "Oh.. Ok!" I sigh, trying to hide my anger.
I watch as Tiffany takes Sasha's arm and leads her away, their laughter filling the air. The jealousy and anger inside me boil over, threatening to consume me.
"What a bitch." I mutter, turning away.
My mind races with thoughts of revenge and anger. How dare Tiffany come between Sasha and me? How dare she try to steal her away? The intensity of my emotions overwhelms me, clouding my judgment and fueling my desire to take matters into my own hands.
I find myself seeking solace in the presence of Marcus, my confidant and friend. He listens patiently as I pour out my frustrations and desires for vengeance. Marcus tries to reason with me, to talk me out of my violent intentions, but I am deaf to his words. All I can think about is Sasha, and how I must protect her from anyone who threatens our connection.
As the days go by, my obsession with Sasha only deepens. I become more determined to ensure that no one else can have her. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make her mine, even if it means hurting anyone who stands in my way. The darkness within me grows, and I can feel myself spiraling further down a dangerous path.
